The Shanghai Dianji University in collaboration with the University of Northern Iowa is a Sino American undergraduate program in International Economics and trade that was approved by the Department of Education in June 2010, it shall be incorporated into the national enrollment plan for ordinary institutions of higher learning, with a four-year academic structure, and the Chinese side shall be awarded a bachelor's degree certificate and a Bachelor of Economics degree certificate in general higher education. The program has been recruiting students since 2011 and has so far enrolled 9 classes and graduated 5 classes. Over the years, more than 10 professional teachers from American universities have been sent to our university to teach English courses for our students.
In 2020, under the situation of global epidemic, Chinese and American universities entered the emergency state of students'home-based online teaching one after another.
